You can choose your friends but not your family.

However that saying goes I wish I could choose my family. I really wanna get other peoples take on family. I like two families out of five on my moms side. Reason they are all fake and it makes me sick! It takes a lot more thought to lie than to tell the truth. When I can see through your fake smiles and see the real you while everyone around is buying your fake smiles it makes me want to throw up in my mouth. On my dads side I really only know one family well and I love them, my aunt died and so now I don't like any of my dads family because all the others are all about themselves and I hate people like that. It's sad to think I dislike most of my family but that's how it goes some people are family orientated but I'm just not, I would rather stay away.

Help out!

I have had a stressful week and been annoyed more than ever with the school year winding down. I apologize for my rant in my last blog and the continuation of my rant in my vocab story. Spalding if you're reading this sorry bout that. Anyway as I mentioned the school year is coming to a close and with me being in government we have to do a community service project. The essay is due next Friday and when Cortese brought it up again it made me laugh when the rest of my classmates were freaking out when they realized they haven't done anything yet. I have volunteered at the hospital for the past 2 1/2 years and I love it, for the most part, I really wish I started when I was a freshmen. I get to interact with many other kids in other schools all across cortland county and get to witness the fine acts of people. In the hospital I have been in the coffee shop, information desk, adult daycare, nursing home, and all of that has been a great experience. For the most part I love old people more than ever. I have also volunteered at Loaves and Fishes where you serve meals to the less fortunate. That is my passion, when I move to Alabama I would love to open up a homeless shelter/ soup kitchen. Possibly a place where kids on the street can go and get off the streets and have a nice home cooked meal. Anyway the whole point of this blog was to say community service makes you a better person, opens up your eyes, and makes you realize what you have is a lot more than a lot of people out there so count your blessings. Also you shouldn't wait for a paper that says you have to do community service in order to graduate, you should already be taking part in that, it's a great thing.

Everyday Observations

Well I'm sitting in the library like I have been for the past few days for English. It sure is annoying how no one does anything yet no one cares. I'm suppose to read this book that's hard to understand in the first place but it's harder when you can't even hear your self talk, just ridiculous. I can't read at home because I have other crap to do. Then you go to other classes with easy assignments and people ask for extensions and get them, what the hell, special? I don't think they are. They are more like users and take advantage of the teacher. Who cares if you have senioritis get over it. If majority of the class gets the work done but you don't obviously you aren't trying hard enough. It's the end of the year, people are getting more annoying than ever, and I can't stand it. Can't wait to be out of this school for good. I observe people everyday and give dirty looks like it's my job, sorry but people forget we are in school and I don't give a crap about you going to parties on the weekend, laughing with your annoying laugh, shut up and sit down.
Well I'm in the library again and stupid immature people are making farting noises maybe you should act like you are about to graduate from high school not kindergarten. Last time I knew library's were a quiet place to get things done, not here in Homer, lord help me!

Every thought about your last day on earth?

I don’t really like to think about it because, well why would anyone want to think about it. I just want my death to happen when it happens and however he happens. I will say watching the Bucket List really makes you think, are you living your life to the fullest? If you aren't make a bucket list and whenever you have the chance try to cross something off of it, even if you have to make it happen, don't wait til you are on your death bed regretting what you didn’t yet get to do. You should be laying there saying, I lived a great life, and did all I ever imagined doing, wish I could have done maybe a few more things, but I am happy with how I lived my life on Earth and I am okay with dying. Well no one is okay with dying, actually I guess some people are ready, but whichever. I created a bucket list and I am all for getting things crossed off. My aunts sudden passing really showed me that you need to live each day to the fullest and have no regrets. I am determined to do everything I want to do and I think everyone should make a list and get going so they can start crossing things off of it.

My Bucket List:
·       Go sky diving
·       Go zip lining in an exotic island
·       Visit every state
·       Go on a cruise
·       Go to Italy
·       Drag race
·       Lawn mower race
·       Go to a shooting range
·       Go hunting down south
·       Swim with dolphins
·       Go ice fishing
·       Go on a safari ride in Africa

Spring Break

Well this Spring Break was one to remember. My mom decided to surprise me and told me we were headed to Boston, we have never been and we were ready for the journey. We hopped in the car and took turns driving the five hours; my mom did most of the driving though. Before I start my long story of our trip I would like to thank the Garmin Company for making GPS’s, I don’t know how we would have made it without it. Although we acted like the GPS was a real person and screamed at it every time it said stay left, now right, recalculating, we are thankful for it because it got us everywhere we needed to go while in Massachusetts.

When we got there we went and checked into our hotel and made ourselves at home. Afterward we went to the subway station so we could head into town and see all of what Boston had to offer. Of course when we first arrived at the station we had no idea how to do anything, luckily these two ladies came around and showed us the ropes. When we got off the subway the lady said go down this street and ask for this restaurant it’s the best. We headed down the street and just kept walking in circles, we swear the lady was a jerk and took us to the hood. On top of that we asked many people where the restaurant was and people looked at us like we were crazy, and no one knew what we were talking about. It started pouring so we headed back on the subway headed to our car, little did we know three different people told us the wrong stop to get off so we had to get back on the subway and get off at a different stop in order to find our car. Then after we went to the Cheesecake Factory and had a delicious meal and Red velvet cheesecake that was to die for, it was a great end to our not so great afternoon.

The next day we asked a guy at the station where to get off he told us and we finally made it to all the great tourist attractions. First we went to the aquarium and saw penguins, sea lions, and many other beautiful sea creatures. Then we headed to the freedom trail and walked that and along the way we stopped at the historic sites. We saw the U.S.S. Constitution, the Paul Revere House, the North Church, the Copp’s Hill Burying Ground, Quincy Market, and other things along the way. That day was gorgeous out and we walked probably 10 miles. That day was much more productive. And of course I bought a mini Boston cream pie, which was delicious.

While on the subway and on the streets we observed the people and my mom pointed out that there are two styles for young boys. They either dress like they are classy or they dress like they are from the hood. We learned people aren’t very friendly and they drive erratically, swerving in and out of lanes without using turn signals. We also noticed that there is one kind of dog that most everyone you saw with a dog owned. Overall Boston was a less busy, more pretty NYC and I could never live there because depending on the subway as my transportation is way too stressful.

Is it just me or do marriages seem like a joke?!

I have noticed more and more lately that people get married and soon after are no longer together. People have affairs like it is their job and it disgusts me. From very personal experience I know how much an affair can affect your family. It is a horrible thing and people that take part in one are just a disgrace to society. When you get married you make vows to each other, why don't people learn to follow them. It frustrates me. My parents got divorced 2 years ago and it was horrible but I realized my parents are better off as friends and that's okay they were married for 21 years before they divorced. Some people are married for a few months or even days when they realize they can no longer be married to that person. Makes me nervous to even get married in the first place, everyone wishes they could meet "the one" and live a long happy life but is "the one" really out there now a days. Maybe for some.

I just think that people look at marriage as buying a car. They get their new car and it's a beauty but after a while it gets wore down and rusty and you go out to the lot and get yourself a new car.
